WHAT IS LUNG CANCER?

Our body is made of millions of tiny cells. These cells have many different jobs. Some jobs include helping you think others include helping you breathe. Sometimes cells get confused and make other cells that hurt our bodies. When this happens a tumor can be formed. A tumor is a mass that grows inside our body. Sometimes the tumors aren’t hurtful and sometimes they are. The bad tumors are known as cancer. If the hurtful tumor grows in the lung it is known as lung cancer.
